Celebrities Sue Fortnite for Use of Their Dance Moves (Appearance on CBS This Morning)

In light of celebrities, including 2 Milly, the Backpack Kid, and Alfonso Ribeiro (who played Carlton on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”), suing Epic Games for using their dance moves in its video game Fortnite, I was featured again today on CBS This Morning in a new segment on the topic. You can view the full story here

Update: On March 7, 2019, in light of the Supreme Court’s decision in Fourth Estate Public Benefit Corp. v. Wall-Street.com (which requires that there be a successful copyright registration prior to the commencement of an infringement lawsuit), the celebrities mentioned in this post have voluntarily dismissed their lawsuits against Epic Games.
